Hallo Dirk,
hier kommt mein Mailaustausch mit Hypex – dir letzten Nachrichten stehen oben,. die ersten unten…
“Hi Norbert,
I have checked with the developers regarding this issue, and it is possible that you can hear a small pop when switching input. Not sure where this originates from.
Unfortunately this is not something we can fix right now, this is a software issue that needs to be addressed in the future. At least the developers now know of this issue.
I can however advise to change preset instead changing the input. If you set a different input on each preset, changing preset will shortly mute the amp so you shouldn’t hear a plop.
This only works ofcourse if the other presets aren’t already set up with different filters.
Regarding your other issue. I don’t really understand.
Do both master and slave switch from left to right, and right to left?
Is this visible in HFD or do you only hear that left and right are switched?
Could it be that your source SPDIF are set up that way?
What would happen if you switch the Left and Right for XLR, do the stereo signal still swap when switching to SPDIF? Perhaps you have left and right switched from your pre-amp?
You can also do this for the Digital audio channel select. You can set the master to Left and Slave to right. Do you still have the same issue?
Kind regards,
Hallo Jeffrey,
I am so thankful for your help…
My setup is Master – Slave.
I disconnected all the inputs and only connected the speakers and AC and tried again. Even with the AC plugs turned 180 degrees the cracking switching noise is still there – listen to my recording.
Also I send you screenshots of the HFD main screen and Device settings of Master and slave so that you know how Udo Wohlgemuth – the developer of the Presets – has set it up. I only changed the channel assignment. It is now: Master/right – Slave/left.
Another problem is: If I change from XLR to SPDIF iunput while playing audio files, the stereo signal changes the channel assignment from left to right.
Please let me know, what I can do.
Kind regards
Norbert

Hi Norbert,
We haven’t heard about this issue before. Can you explain about your application? Is the FusionAmp stand alone, or do you use a Master Slave setup?
Please disconnect all the inputs and only connect the speaker and AC and try again.
If you still hear cracks, please send us a recording of the noise.
Also please send us screenshots of the HFD main screen and Device settings so we know how you have set it up.”
Norbert
